SpillPopThe glossy guide to reality TV & streaming

About us

Reality TV, taken seriously (but not too seriously).

SpillPop is an independent fan site and companion guide to the reality and streaming shows people actually talk about: Love Island (US and UK), Love Is Blind, The Traitors, The Real Housewives, the Bachelor franchise and whatever the next big binge turns out to be.

We are not a breaking-gossip site. We don’t run anonymous “sources say” stories as fact, we don’t publish paparazzi or press photos, and we don’t speculate about people’s private lives. Instead, we build the pages you go looking for after an episode:

  • Couples trackers. Who’s still together, who split, and what they’ve said publicly, with links to where they said it.
  • Release dates & where to watch. Premiere dates, weekly drop schedules and the right streaming service in the US and the UK.
  • Show hubs. One place per show for seasons, cast and every guide we’ve written.
  • Reunion explainers & recaps. What happened, in order, without the noise.
  • Where are they now. Catching up with fan favourites from past seasons, using what they’ve said and done on the record.
  • Cast style. The looks people ask about, with credits where the stylists or designers have given them.

Masthead

Jai Nischal Verma, Founder & Editor. Jai runs SpillPop and writes and edits its guides. Author profile and all stories.

SpillPop is a one-person independent site. It isn’t affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any network, streamer, production company or show we cover. Show names are trademarks of their respective owners.

How stories are sourced

  • Primary sources first. Premiere dates, casts and renewals come from the network or streamer (Netflix Tudum, Peacock, Bravo, BBC Media Centre, ITV Press Centre, ABC) or from established trade and news outlets such as Deadline, Variety and BBC News.
  • Statuses come from the people involved. Relationship statuses are based on what cast members have said on the show, at the reunion, in interviews or on their own social accounts. We say where they said it and when, because statuses change fast.
  • Everything is linked. Every factual claim is attributed in the text and linked to its source, and longer guides end with a sources list.
  • If we can’t verify it, we leave it out. We don’t invent quotes, dates or couple statuses. Where outlets report something that isn’t confirmed on the record, we either say clearly who reported it or leave it out.
  • Original art only. Our cover images are original typographic illustrations made in-house, never celebrity or press photography.

How corrections work

If we get something wrong, we fix it quickly and transparently. Corrections of fact are noted on the article with the date of the change, and guides show an “updated” date when they’re revised. Email hello@spillpop.com with the page link and what needs fixing (a source helps), and put “Correction” in the subject line. The full process is in our editorial policy and corrections process.
